Endorsements

As you know, an important school board election is coming up on April 1st.  We are fortunate to have an excellent public school system in Stillwater which requires having school board members who are dedicated to providing the best education that we can to our young people.  Excellence does not happen by accident.

 

Marshall Baker is running for re-election (www.bakerfortheboard.com).  Marshall and Robyn have two young boys enrolled in SPS and he has a clear stake in achieving the highest standards possible for SPS.  

 

Marshall has a Ph.D.degree in education and is a former national officer in the FFA, former principal of Lincoln Academy, former principal of SPS Junior High, former professor at OSU and North Carolina State University and currently an education consultant.  Marshall helped bring the recent funding issues at SPS to light and find a path forward.
